Today, I had a great time representing The Omaha Children’s Museum at The Nebraska Environmental Education Conference at Mahoney State Park. Thank you to Jocelyn Harrison, from the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo, for the invitation to speak.

I participated in a panel discussion centering around creating intentionally inclusive programs in the environmental education world. We shared how our organizations have reinvented programs to be more inclusive of all people and communities in Omaha and how we have created successful partnerships to overcome barriers and increase access to education programs. This fascinating open discussion allowed us to share effective practices in making programs more just, equitable, diverse, accessible, and inclusive.
